Supporting People

Support Their Companions

A movement to improve mental well-being with the help of our furry friends

OUR
MISSION

Endless Wags Australia supports pets of the community.

We recognise that animals provide their owners with a deep emotional connection in day to day life. Owning a pet can allow people to fulfil basic human needs of love, joy and companionship. There's no doubt that this comes at a cost.

We maintain a holistic view of pet well-being and community support. Our ‘non-metropolitan’ community focus will support the individual and their pet, whether they be of the less fortunate, homeless or animal foster carers needing some support due to financial hardship.

We also recognise that animal foster carers volunteer to provide a loving temporary home for animals until they find a “fur-ever” home and acknowledge that volunteers absorb costs.  Fostering animals can be an enriching experience to care takers, and at Endless Wags Australia, we want to empower these volunteers to continue their important work.

The truth is that both owner and pet are better for having each other as companions. Being together comes with many benefits for both which works to improve mental health and instil hope and healing. This is why we are committed to supporting the human-animal bond.

Life Saving Surgery

A pet dog that had a hormonal cancer. His owner did not have the financial resources to fund his dog’s surgery. He sought financial assistance from Endless Wags Australia. We were able to fund his dog’s life saving surgery, de-sexing and antibiotics to keep his pet healthy.

This dog will now be able to live a longer life with the reduced risk of hormonal diseases and cancer associated with testosterone.
